Tudor Treasures & Medieval Musings is a blog dedicated to bringing unusual, unknown, and unspoken facets of history into the light. With a focus on medieval and early modern history, most of the history discussed ranges from the 1066 Norman Conquest of England, right through to 1603 with the death of Elizabeth I.
Tudor Treasures & Medieval Musings is written by historian Jessica Carey-Bunning. Jessica graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts with majors in History and Psychology. She received First Class Honours for her thesis ‘Fore the mercy of God remember the onstabylnesse of thys wold’: Contemporary attitudes of instability, change, and transition in England at the purported ‘end of the Middle Ages’.
Outside of history, Jessica is a mum to a beautiful baby boy, a very needy and affectionate cat, and a cheeky, spirited horse. She spends her time with her family, bush-walking, and reading.
