Tudor Treasures is a blog dedicated to bringing unusual, unknown, and unspoken facets of history into the light. With a focus on medieval and early modern history, most of the history discussed ranges from the 1066 Norman Conquest of England, right through to 1603 with the death of Elizabeth I.
Tudor Treasures is written by historian Jessica Carey-Bunning. Jessica is a PhD candidate at the University of Adelaide, and her thesis is on the jewels of Mary I.
Outside of history, Jessica is a mum to a beautiful baby boy, a very needy and affectionate cat, and a cheeky, spirited horse. She spends her time with her family, bush-walking, and reading.
