These are the only three confirmed extant contemporary portraits of Catherine Parr. We have records which suggest Catherine commissioned many miniatures of herself to give to family and friends; sadly we do not know what happened to these. Hopefully some will eventually emerge from private collections and be positively identified as the last wife and queen of Henry VIII.
